NVIDIA agrees to acquire Hugging Face
NVIDIA signed a definitive agreement to buy Hugging Face for about $11.9 billion, plus up to about $1.0 billion of equity-based retention awards for employees. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals, and NVIDIA committed to keep the platform open.
NVIDIA reports second-quarter fiscal 2027 results
Revenue was $96.2 billion, up 106% from a year earlier, with Data Center revenue of $89.0 billion. GAAP diluted EPS was $2.46, and non-GAAP diluted EPS was $2.22. The company said it returned about $26.0 billion to shareholders during the quarter.
NVIDIA announces a data center partnership with SB Energy in Ohio, with OpenAI as tenant
NVIDIA said it secured land, power and shell capacity for a large AI data center campus in Pike County, Ohio, with an OpenAI affiliate as the tenant. It entered residual value guaranties on leases covering about 4.25 gigawatts, with its payment obligation capped at $105 billion for the initial commitment.
